Photos

The more photos you send the better, but please remember to indicate which one you wish to be used for expression/pose which are most typical and characteristic of subject. The better the photograph, the more detail can be shown in your portrait.

If you are within roughly 30 mile radius of A2 in Kent I can come to you to take the photos, for a small charge only (fuel costs). Please mention this when contacting me.

If you are providing a professional photo, it could be copyrighted, in which case, the photo must be accompanied by a copyright release from the copyright holder.

Please remember to give me the name(s) of subject(s), as I will mark this on the painting.

Above is a photo I used in the painting of "Carla".

 Because I wanted to balance the picture more, I added her tail, which she had hidden when photographed!

Deposit

A deposit is not usually required for single subject portraits, but full payment will be necessary when you have approved the preview photo (usually by email but by post if necessary) of your finished portrait and prior to shipping.

Completion times

When your portrait is completed, which can take between 2 and 4 weeks, depending on time of year, a print of your finished painting will either be emailed to you or posted for approval.

When I have received the balance of the total cost of your painting, it will be sent to you on next-day special delivery service (UK).

What next?

All you have to do is just email me with your requirements and/or telephone number - please see my contact page and I will get back to you as soon as possible, usually the same day, so we can discuss your painting further. Alternatively, you could call me on 01634 272065 during evenings or weekends - please remember we are based in the UK.

Gift Certificates

If you would like to give a portrait as a gift but are unable to obtain photos just yet, or need to present your gift very soon, you might want to give a gift certificate, which are supplied at no extra charge. Please contact me for details.
